Public sector leaders must serve their organizational missions as well as the larger mission we all share: preserving global resources (human, natural and economic) for future generations. This will require a redefinition of how we measure successful leaders, the application of interdisciplinary skills and behaviors, and the willingness of leaders to expand their sphere of influence beyond the home agency or geographic boundaries. The outcome of this initiative will be a descriptive model of these crucial sustainable leadership practices in addition to a credible series of learning opportunities to acquire the necessary skills. For further information on how to schedule one of these programs on site or to participate in the Community of Practice, please email info@public-sector.org |
